Kira Norby
Kira was raised in Fort Lupton, Colorado, a small town East of the Rocky Mountains. As a child she’d wake up with the sun (to the chagrin of her parents) and scamper to her desk, determined to draw whatever struck her fancy before the rest of the house was awake. Her artistic habits followed her through school and took her to college, where she completed a Bachelor of Fine Art in 2017. In 2019 she moved to Maine in the pursuit of fresh surroundings. There she has discovered a treasure trove of inspiration, from the isolated seascapes, to the New England architecture, to her backyard garden. Today she enjoys finding wonder in the everyday, painting mostly for herself and her friends in an attempt to capture the small beauties of the ordinary.
